I live and work on the original lands of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dakota and Dene Peoples and the homeland of the Métis Nation. My pronoun is she. I started at the University of Manitoba October 2018. I'm currently covering Native Studies, Classics, English, Film Studies and Theatre & Drama at the Elizabeth Dafoe Library. I love teaching, collection development and providing reference support! I have a BA from the University of Manitoba (Ukrainian major; Central & East European Studies minor), a BEd from the University of Winnipeg and an MLIS from Western University. I'm passionate about veganism, animal rights, 2SLGBTQ+ rights, feminism, multiculturalism, my Ukrainian culture, dogs and the Winnipeg Jets. I look forward to meeting lots of you at IDEAL'19!
